Acupuncture 针灸
At our clinic, we take a holistic approach to health using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Elements Acupuncture. These gentle, natural therapies are designed to support both your body and mind, helping to restore balance, improve overall wellbeing, and encourage your body’s natural ability to heal itself.
TCM is an ancient system of healthcare that focuses on the flow of Qi—your body’s vital energy—through pathways called meridians. When Qi flows freely, you feel healthy and balanced. When it becomes blocked or out of balance, physical or emotional symptoms can appear. TCM uses treatments such as acupuncture, herbal remedies, dietary guidance, and lifestyle advice to restore harmony and support your health.
Five Elements Acupuncture is a classical style of acupuncture that looks at health through the five elements in nature: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Everyone has their own unique elemental balance. By identifying which element is out of harmony, this approach treats the root cause of health issues, rather than just addressing the symptoms.

Reflexology (足疗)
Reflexology is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic technique based on the principle that specific points on the feet, hands, and ears correspond to different organs and systems of the body. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex zones, reflexology helps restore balance, relieve stress, and support the body’s natural healing processes.
This holistic therapy encourages improved circulation, enhances nerve function, and promotes deep relaxation. Many clients experience a release of tension, better sleep, and a renewed sense of vitality following treatment.
Reflexology can be especially beneficial for stress-related conditions, fatigue, headaches, digestive issues, and overall wellness. It offers a calming experience that helps harmonize the mind, body, and spirit.

Cupping (拔罐)
Cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to stimulate circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote the body’s natural healing process. During treatment, specialized glass or silicone cups are placed on the skin to create gentle suction. This draws fresh blood to the area, helping release tight fascia and loosen deep-seated knots while flushing out toxins and metabolic waste.
Many patients describe cupping as a deeply relaxing experience. It can help reduce pain, improve flexibility, and accelerate recovery from injuries or chronic muscle stiffness. Cupping is also beneficial for respiratory conditions, stress relief, and overall detoxification.
Temporary circular marks may appear on the skin — these are not bruises but signs of increased circulation and stagnation release, typically fading within a few days.

Moxibustion (艾灸)
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese therapy that uses the gentle heat of burning moxa — a refined form of the herb Artemisia (mugwort) — to stimulate acupuncture points, enhance circulation, and promote healing. The soothing warmth penetrates deeply into the body, helping to dispel cold, relieve pain, and restore the smooth flow of Qi and blood.
In practice, moxibustion may be performed directly over the skin or indirectly using a moxa stick or placed on acupuncture needles. The technique is tailored to each patient’s needs, offering gentle, nourishing warmth that encourages balance and vitality.
Moxibustion is often used to support digestive health, ease menstrual discomfort, strengthen immunity, and alleviate conditions associated with cold or stagnation.

Guasha (刮痧)
Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese healing technique that involves gently scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool to stimulate circulation, release tension, and promote the body’s natural detoxification process. The name “Gua Sha” translates to “scraping away stagnation,” reflecting its purpose: to move stagnant Qi and blood, ease tight muscles, and restore balance throughout the body.
During treatment, a small tool often made of jade, horn, or stone is applied with soothing strokes along specific areas of the body. This action increases blood flow, reduces inflammation, and helps relieve chronic pain, stiffness, and fatigue. Mild redness or temporary marks may appear, indicating improved circulation and the release of internal stagnation.
Gua Sha can be especially effective for muscle tension, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, and stress-related discomfort. Many patients experience a deep sense of relief, looseness, and renewed vitality after treatment.
“Where there is free flow of Qi, there is no pain. Where Qi is stagnant, pain arises.”
Huangdi Neijing (Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon)
