Susan Adams BSc (Hons) LicAc MBAcC
Susan Adams is from Minnesota USA where she finished a university degree and worked in the field of natural foods. She became interested in health and Chinese Medicine in the early 1990’s. Susan travelled, volunteered, worked, and studied in Israel, India, Tibet and Japan before moving to the UK in 2003.
She began her studies of Chinese Medicine in Tokyo at the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology and completed her acupuncture degree at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading. Susan has a Licence and BSc(Hons) in Acupuncture and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
Susan treats babies, children and adults. She has a special interest in treating fertility (male and female), obstetrics and gynaecology. She has done extra training on Complications in Pregnancy, Paediatric acupressure, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Dr Tan's Balance Method. She is also pursuing a postgraduate diploma in homeopathy so is taking a limited number of patients for this therapy.
In Guildford, Susan was treated by Tony Lee Shane, an acupuncturist who was a true master of Chinese Medicine. In Tony's memory, Susan uses ear and chakra acupuncture.
